Danish experts have developed a supercomputer climate model that predicts climate change will bring an 'ice age' to Europe.
As Greenland's glaciers begin to melt faster, fresh water will flow more strongly into the sea, experts say. As a result, the Gulf Stream could 'blip'. According to one of the new modeling scenarios, the current system will collapse by the middle of this century and the Earth's northern hemisphere will cool rapidly in about 60-70 years.
At the same time, heat and drought will increase near the equator, sea levels will rise, hurricanes and floods will become more frequent. This could lead to serious problems as well as food crises.
This is bad news..
